5Perfect science for pre-school and kindergarten  Apr 24, 2010 By BarbT
This book uses a great approach to introduce preschool and kindergarten aged children to the science of perception (your senses). Each sense gets a chapter with an introduction (about 1 page explaining what it is, and a little bit of science that explains how it works), a poem for fun (2-3 pages), and a page of questions to think about (have you ever experienced or thought about...). Great as a whole book, and great as part of a unit on a single sense. My almost 5-year old daughter really has enjoyed this book (and we have read several chapters multiple times), and when I brought it to her preschool class, it really kept their attention, and generated a lot of questions, thoughts, and ideas.

3Cute book  Dec 28, 2009 By Jessica Thurston
My son was eager to read this book. The title draws kids in. It's probably not a book that gets read over and over... but it's cute for a one time read.

This is a great book for kids. My second grade son loves it. It is both educational and interesting.
