How It Works
After mounting your rod rack, simply insert the rod butt into the hole, and the rod tip into the "T" shaped slot. When inserting into the "T" slot, you can either push your rod tip through the shock cord and into the rack, creating a secured hold on your rods, or remove the shock cord, insert your rods into the rack, and then re-secure the shock cord, creating a safety net in case your rods are bumped out of the rack.

You really can fit 10 rods on this, and for the price it is the best rod storage rack I could find. It is easy to install, and very easy to use. It is plastic, but seems strong enough. The mounting hardware was included, took less than 5 minutes to install. With the stretchy keeper cord in use, you can use this mounted in a vehicle, or on the back of a garage door, even when it opens. Mine is now on my ceiling, the only con, very minor, is I wish the rods were spaced out just a tiny bit more. Having said that, if you are storing rods without the reels on it, there is more than enough space. I mine with the reels mounted and it does fir. I have 5 spincasting, 4 spinning, and 1 fly rod with reels mounted on it right now.
Mine arrived very quickly in less than a week, the shipping was affordable, and it was safely packed. I recommend.

I have always had a problem where the best out of the way storage place was to protect my expensive fishing rod collecton. Until while randomly shopping for a fishing rod holder I was introduced through Amazon com. to the ultimate rod sitter. Not only is the "sitter" a well constructed compact design which accomadates ten rods with reel, but is ingeniously constructed for ease of mounting in various situations. I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend to all.

This rack did exactly what it promised. It is sturdy and looks good. I even have my big surf rods with 12ott reels which are very heavy and the rack has no problems accommodating them.

Rod sitter works exactly as hoped, got all my rods out of harms way and onto the garage ceiling where they are safe. Would be perfect if they were a little longer so the rods could have been spaced apart further but all in all I'm happy with the product.

Installed in my garage on the ceiling above my garage door. Sturdy and clean. Very simple but effective design. Couldn't have designed better my self.
