5Protein Fundamentals  Oct 10, 2004
This is an excellent book that should be in the personal library of any serious protein pharmaceutical scientist and protein researcher in general.

5The Bible of Macromolecular Characterization  Jul 12, 2003
We (Precision Detectors) have referenced this book countless times to rediscover approaches used to characterize polymers and proteins, many similar books have been written since this book was first published, but none approach this book for its readability and understanding.
If its available buy it. Its worth every penny (cent).

5Best Ever  Sep 07, 2000
Even if outdated, this book is and will always be a classic on physical chemistry. It is thorouh, clear and very instructing. Enjoyable reading and the source to go check where those hydrodynamics formulae come from. Specially noteworthy are the sections on light scattering and centrifugation. A must have if you are in the field. And actually some schools still use it for teaching. Way! University of Bordeaux II, biochemistry, for real. How many 1969 books can say that?
