Perfect if you have an ide drive sitting around. Very tight fitting, feels very solid once everything is put together.

This is a 2.5' IDE enclosure. It comes with the enclosure itself, a well written instruction guide, a "Y-split" USB cable, a driver CD for computers running Windows 98, and a product registration booklet. It also comes with screws, but I forgot to mount the drive. It fits snugly into the enclosure enough so they aren't really needed.
The enclosure is well built for the price, its just a bit larger then the hard drive itself. It has a pushable button in the front, but the button isn't actually wired to anything. The button lights up depending on the status of the drive, it is either blue or red. It connects via a mini-USB port in the back, and the cable is long enough to reach behind a desk and into a computer. It also accepts an external power source, but does not come with one. My drive powers on with one USB, but I assume faster and larger drives require two.
Overall I think the drive is the perfect choice for somebody who has an old laptop lying around that they can salvage the hard drive out of. Its hard to find a good quality 2.5' IDE enclosure for such a cheap price.
