Very happy with Y570 Dec 05, 2011
By Jay Martin The Y570 is blazing fast, loads windows in about 25 seconds, PSE10 to welcome screen in 5 seconds and edit window in another 7 seconds or there abouts. This computer is very quiet and runs cool. A comparable Apple Mac Book Pro would cost well over $3000. The screen resolution is a little less than the MBP but the difference is small to my eyes. I use this machine mainly for photo and video editing and it handles it effortlessly. I highly recommend this computer as of this date. I've been in possession of this machine for only about a month but have used it heavily with no glitches. I was a bit concerned about the way the hard drives are set up, Lenovo has a proprietary method of handling the SSD and HDD interaction that I don't understand but it seems to work perfectly. I think this computer will satisfy the most demanding power user. Roy
