Great speed - replace video card and power supply Nov 19, 2011
By Brian I ordered the computer for the price which was affordable. The i7 is a spectacular processor and 12 gigs of ram is monstrous, so I am very happy with the speed at which the machine runs. The only issue is in he video card; it leaves something to be desired. I had never really had a Radeon card and have always used Nvidia but I figured I would go ahead and try it out figuring that by now video cards had reached sort of an equilibrium. But the card in this machine is not very good.
It will run some games ok but get into heavier territory like Battlefield 3 and it will chug unless you have it on low settings and low resolution. This may no be a big deal for some but I am a 3D artist for video games and I need the ability to process the kind of polys and texture sizes you find in high quality games.
So my suggestion, if you get this machine is to factor in buying a new video card (the one in it is a 60 dollar bargain card) I do recommend Nvidia though and for that card buy a new power supply. The power supply that it comes with is a 250 watt piece of poo.
Aside from the graphics card deal this is a screaming computer that I feel will last me a while. Only time will show if it has staying power as it gets older.

Lenovo K330 77275DU Desktop Jan 03, 2012
By JNR I purchased the Lenovo K330 77275DU Desktop to replace a 6 year-old HP Pavilion desktop PC. I am quite pleased with the Lenovo K330. It is very resonsive and quiet. The PC came preloaded with Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS Home Premium software. Unfortunately, no installation software backup CDs are provided so if you purchase this PC, you might want to be sure to make a drive image backup as soon as you receive the PC. Having access to the Inernet during the setup process is essential as there are several upgrades that need to be downloaded from Microsoft. I connected to the Internet through the Ethernet connection. It worked properly without needing ot make any setting adjustments. (FYI, the Lenovo does not come with a telephone line modem). There are some shortcomings. The keyboard provided by Lenovo is of poor quality and design. The keys are not elevated and it becomes difficult and time consuming to hit the space bar on the keyboard. I wound up using my old HP keyboard with the Lenovo. I also just used my ViewSonic monitor with teh Lenovo and connected it with the standard monitor cable. No problems with the display. The instructions provided by Lenovo are mediocre. It would be better if Lenovo provided more detailed instructions. For example, they do not explicitly indicate the location of the USB 3 ports (there are 2 of them on the PC). FYI, they are located on the back of the tower and they do work. The USB 3 ports are very nice and operate at least 3X faster than the USB 2 ports. The CD/DVD burner works properly and the PC has plenty of zip with the Intel I7 processor and 12 GB of RAM. I installed a second internal HD for storage. Accessing the inside of the tower was easy. I was a bit disappointed though in that the HD drive bays are made of plastic rather than metal. I did have one issue when I went to install my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer/scanner. The printing, faxing, and copying aspects of the printer worked properly but when I went to use the scanner with Acrobat Pro X, it would not recognize the scanner functionality. At first I thought the problem was with the driver for the Officejet 8600 but after 2 days of searching the Internet I came to find out that the problem was with the Service settings in the Win 7 software. Once these setting were corrected, the scanner worked properly with both Acrobat Pro X and Omnipage Pro V18. So, the scanner issue is the result of how the PC was configured by either Lenovo or Microsoft and not HP. If I were a purist I might subtract a half-start from the overall rating but I'm still pleased overall with the lenovo PC and its performance so I will go with the full 5-stars.

great machine, poor service Dec 11, 2011
By davishouseproductions this machine edits my hd video in it's original format without even trying. it makes me so happy. rendering? what rendering lol. i am, however, greatly disappointed with amazon's acknowledgment of their failure to meet their one day shipping guarantee with a mere apology rather than agreeing to refund the amount paid for shipping and handling due to the fact that it was an "unavoidable delay". not typical amazon behavior according to some friends of mine who persuaded me to use the site, but there's a first time for everything i suppose. as well as a last. i think i'll shop elsewhere next time.

Lenovo Provides worst service.. BEWARE Dec 14, 2011
By Satheerthan S. Nair I brought this same computer with 2TB HDD directly from Lenovo. I ordered top of the line for better multimedia performance. They advertised the machine with wi-fi but there is no wi-fi in the shipped machine. When I contacted Lenovo they said K330 doesn't have built in wi-fi, their support was adamant. Call landed in outside USA and those people can't understand English well. I talked to a customer care manager and he said they need restocking fee for returns.I send the advertised pdf link from lenovo and still they didn't agree and too adamant. To get connected to Lenovo will take 2 hours... Keep away from Lenovo..
