Excellent upgrade for an older machine Sep 02, 2011
By Montezuma I used this product to upgrade an old machine, so that I could install OSX on a virtual machine. It was well worth the investment. I noticed that the overall machine performance improved significantly.
The first shipment was either lost or stolen(seems to have been stolen), but the seller, Bross Computers, replaced the stolen product for shipping cost only. I was very happy, as they were under no obligation to do that.
High marks all around.

Excellent LGA775 value Aug 23, 2009
By A. Robles

This is an all-around great pick for performance value, for those still using LGA775. I have it overclocked to 3.15 GHz and the temperatures never reach anything near the danger zone. The voltages are stable with default settings on my Gigabyte mobo, and it passes every torture test I put it through. Granted, I use quality air-cooling components (Thermalright heatsink, Scythe fans) but that's a given if you want to push a CPU to its limits.

Dead on Arrival Apr 20, 2009
By Robert Giuffrida Jr. The mfgr of my computer (HP) informed me this CPU was compatible with my mobo. I had Geek Squad at Best Buy try to install it and they could not get it to work. I had to send it back for a refund. Very disappointed.
